Top-notch facilities enable us to offer a wide-variety of land and water sports, outdoor adventure activities and hobbies. We have numerous large fields for soccer, baseball and lacrosse, and two regulation basketball courts. The Sobel Indoor Sports Arena enhances the athletic program, rain or shine! Nine tennis courts provide ample opportunity for lessons and competition. Island campers have their own physical fitness and training center. Campers also have the opportunity to hike, mountain bike and go on extended trips in the surrounding White Mountains.

We combine the best of tradition with the most modern facilities. Our cabins are being completely renovated, and we have recently built new a shower house. Our grounds are well groomed, and the views of Lake Winnipesaukee are spectacular!

Bunks

Island bunks are located in the middle of campus parallel to the waterfront. They include all of the necessities, (hot-cold water, electricity, etc.), along with a breath-taking view of Lake Winnepesaukee.

Playhouse

The home to socials, musical events, ping pong tables, chess games and so much more! Dramatic productions and talent shows are presented throughout the summer.

Dining Hall

An expansive salad bar highlights the great meals. Everyone eats together; often times cheers reverberate throughout the building. Banners hang proudly from the wall. The slogan "Island Pride" stands over the entrance.

Infirmary

The island infirmary has a full-time registered nurse in attendance and a full-time physician on-call from the mainland. It is fully equipped and has all of the modern conveniences.

Waterfront

The Island has more than a mile of shoreline. Since all of the bunks are near the lake, the Waterfront is a place to congregate and have fun.

The Waterfront program offers the latest in water skiing and boating, along with quality swim instruction. The lake is crystal clear and has a beautiful white sandy bottom. Water basketball, water polo, and a diving board all combine to make the Waterfront popular.
